Marketing Consultant

  •  ER Marketing Group
  •  Jul 2020 - Present

After I was made redundant I started my own Marketing Agency. I create a marketing strategy for my clients then I implement it for them. I work with a range of clients from e-commerce start-ups to small established businesses.

My business was recently shortlisted for a Thames Valley Business Award in the start-up of the year category.

I am also a Contributing Article Writer for Mo2vate magazine, a global magazine for business owners. I have had my articles published in their print and online magazine.

I also write for the C-Word mag and other various online magazines.

After 9 months we won our first award - SME News 'Best Marketing Agency for SME's'.

Marketing Manager

  •  Whitehall Finance
  •  Oct 2019 - Jun 2020

Whitehall Finance is a supply chain finance start-up. I was the sole person in charge of marketing for the business.

My role as the Marketing Manager was to raise awareness of the brand by developing and executing marketing strategies to meet consumer need and maximise profits.

I created a marketing strategy for the business and then I implemented it.

My strategy included these elements:

Social media
Email marketing
Advertising (online and offline)
Corporate Social Responsibility

During my first week, I wrote a press release that was published in local media as well as spotting issues with the current email marketing campaigns.

Other activities included creating content for the website and social media posts for Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.

I worked closely with the sales team on marketing campaigns to ensure maximum efficiency. I also ran a training session showing everyone how to use Linkedin properly.

E-commerce Co-ordinator

  •  Aurora World
  •  Apr 2019 - Oct 2019

This was a temporary role working in the E-commerce team at Aurora World's head office.

The two main part of my role was managing the B2C Shopify store and the Amazon operations. I also wrote social media posts. When I started the store needed a lot of improvements to increase sales.

I spent some time working on the SEO and website content which increased the visits to the website. I wrote engaging and fun social media posts which led to an increase in sales.

Digital Marketing Manager

  •  Black Rock Grill
  •  Jan 2018 - Apr 2019

As the Digital Marketing Manager, I ensured that the company had a presence on all the right platforms and that the right message is delivered to the right audience.

During my time in this role, I created and managed marketing campaigns that have led to an increase in social media followers and leads.

I worked on a lot of projects in this role, including managing the build and launch of a new website and two new online shops. This project involved managing agencies, writing content and ensuring both website and shops are SEO optimised.

I used Google analytics to identify improvements that needed to be made to pages (such as click-through rate, bounce rate or ranking). I also wrote the content for the PPC campaigns, email campaigns and blogs for the website.
